We care – We serve service opportunites available
We have an active mission program that provides for the needs of many people; young and old, far and near.

Each July 4th is celebrated with a “Pie Booth” at the local festivities serving delicious home made pies and desserts.

The ladies of our Hospitality Committee prepare food for various community activities such as the Senior Citizens Lunch in April and the Hinckley Lions club Auction. They also create dishes and serve for funerals, disaster victims, fund raisers and fellowship.

Hinckley First United Methodist Church also prints and mails the Hinckley Update every month to keep you informed of all the happenings in your community.

We include Children’s Time in our regular worship service so the children can feel included as part of our

church family.

On the third Sunday of every month we have Karaoke Kids during worship which gives the children the ability to share their faith through music.

Staffed Nursery Care is provided for infants and toddlers during worship service. We also have “cry rooms” available if needed.

For the older children we hold Confirmation classes every other Wednesday to teach the teens to grow in the way of Christ.

Every summer we host a fun filled Vacation Bible School program and all are invited. Each year a theme is chosen to help teach the children about the love God has for each of them

Family fun for everyone

Game Night, every other month on the last Friday of the month at 7 pm we meet at the church for Game Night. This is a fun family oriented activity that builds friendship and fellowship. The entire community is invited to this fun filled event.

Movie Night, alternating with Game Night, Movie Night also occurs on the last Friday of the month at 7 pm, every other month. We share a variety of movies ranging form Cars and The Chronicles of Narnia to The Passion of the Christ. Everyone is invited to enjoy popcorn and fellowship in a family friendly atmosphere.
